What Do Graphic Designers Do?

Graphic designers use computer software, print media, and film to develop the look for almost everything you see in print and online. They combine text and color to create logos, brochures, and reports, as well as the layout of magazines, newspapers, and more.

Climbing the Career Ladder

When designers first start out, they usually work as junior designers, working their way up to art director or even creative director positions. As designers move up, they get more and more creative control, ultimately helping direct creative and brand strategies.
