Public Health Nurse Wanted for Aguilera's Sliced Tendons

Poor Christina! The pop star sliced two tendons in her forearm while picking up pieces of a glass vase broken by her dog. Thank goodness there was a good public health nurse available when she did it.

University of Phoenix Online allows students to earn their degrees and advance their careers - all online.

Christina Aguilera: Down but Not Out

When singer Christina Aguilera accidentally cut her arm while cleaning up a broken glass vase, she was taken to a Los Angeles-area hospital for treatment by a public health nurse. According to her publicist, Jill Fritzo, the accident is not serious, but does require that her arm be in a cast for some weeks. Despite the injury, Aguilera still plans on performing her major hits "What a Girl Wants" and "Genie in a Bottle" in concerts scheduled for later in the year.

Due in part to good health care, Christina's accident won't hinder her career. Can you imagine that nurse's surprise to see a star of this caliber walking into her hospital for treatment? Earn your online degree in public health nursing, and you could be providing first-line medical care to all who need it.
