Batman Brings Criminals to Justice Once More

Focusing on the tormented soul of Bruce Wayne, Batman Begins takes us to the start of the Batman saga. Moviegoers get to find out how Bruce Wayne becomes Batman and begins his storied fight against super-criminals to defend justice.

Holy Bat-Justice

Christian Bale dons the cape and cowl for this edition in the Batman movie series. The tortured Bruce Wayne, Batman's alter-ego, searches for a way to deal with the death of his parents. With Christopher Nolan directing, this latest movie is grittier and more realistic.

Screenwriter David Goyer wrote the story, which takes Bruce Wayne over vast distances to fill in a seven year gap in Bruce Wayne's history and education as a crime fighter. The movie chronologically predates the first Batman movie, and it's a story that is not even addressed in Batman Year One of the comic books. Moviegoers can anticipate a brand new story.

The Crime Scene

Fleeing the crime scene for this movie will be Dr. Jonathan Crane, known as the Scarecrow and played by Cillian Murphy. The latest damsel in distress will be Rachel played by Katie Holmes, and Batman's butler and right hand man, Alfred, will be played by Michael Caine. Morgan Freeman and Liam Neesan also appear in the movie.

To the Batmobile!

Criminals will quake before the harsh road justice of this movie's Batmobile, which apparently operates without a front axle. According to an interview with Bale, the Batmobile was designed to actually be able to perform all the stunts that are in the movie instead of relying on computer animation. Even Bale admits that he would have loved to have been allowed to keep one of the Batmobiles (12 or 13 were made).

POW! Putting the Punch Into Criminal Justice

Jumping from rooftops and driving the Batmobile definitely would make for an exciting career, but if you're interested in making the world safe from villains, a criminal justice degree can help you bring justice to the world.

A criminal justice degree gives you the flexibility to be the one piecing to together a crime scene or being the one to capture criminals in action. A distance education is one avenue that can get you a criminal justice degree. You won't have to travel long distances like Bruce Wayne to get your criminal justice education; you just need a computer and a reliable Internet connection to begin protecting the citizens of your Gotham City.
