While the doctor may be an integral part of the healing process, the role of the licensed practical nurse (LPN) simply can't be understated. This college degree program is for those candidates who actively seek rewarding patient contact.
Licensed practical nurses perform a full range of essential duties that are at the core of any treatment program. Using hi-tech medical equipment, LPNs monitor vital signs, assess patient reactions to medications, and communicate with other medical professionals involved in the treatment process.

- Earn Your LPN Degree. 1,200 state-approved programs provide training in practical nursing.
- Complete Your Internship. Supervised clinical practice in a hospital or office setting.
- Pass the LPN Exam. The NCLEX-PN is the accredited certification examination for LPNs.
