Wireless Professionals Needed
The next generation in wireless may not be up to par, but it will be soon. And when it matures, it will need a workforce of educated wireless technicians and engineers to fill the new future computer jobs.
The online publication PC World recently tested a new group of wireless routers for networking capability, but found that most models did not provide connections as fast as the routers currently on the market.
Wireless routers from a new generation of draft-N routers were tested by PC World, including routers from Buffalo Technology, Netgear, and Linksys. One of the Netgear routers outperformed a current generation router, but the others did not. The testing suggested that wireless technology has room to improve.

Computer jobs aren't restricted simply to hardware and software anymore. There are computer tech jobs that deal specifically with information security, communications, and networking.
